We have developed a new guide that provides an overview of all our training and resources for Victorian Traditional Owners.

Training and support opportunities

We provide a range of training programs from annual accredited training such as the Certificate IV in Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management, through to short workshops that are delivered in response to Traditional Owner interest.

Governance and Sector Support program

The Governance and Sector Support program is a fresh and flexible approach to training and tailored support for Aboriginal Victorians with an interest or a role in governance structures.

Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Training

The Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Training program is for Aboriginal Victorians with a role or an interest in the state's unique and irreplaceable Aboriginal cultural heritage.

Right People for Country program

The Right People for Country program supports Traditional Owner groups to reach durable agreements about boundary and group composition issues. As part of this support the Right People for Country program offers Negotiation Skills and Facilitation Skills workshops for Victorian Traditional Owners.

The Victorian Government provides grants for a range of initiatives, including protecting heritage.
