The Commonwealth Ombudsman assists the Australian community by resolving complaints and fostering good government administration. The Ombudsman's services are free and available to anyone who has a complaint about an Australian Government agency which they have been unable to resolve. The Commonwealth Ombudsman is also the Ombudsman for the Defence Force, Immigration, Law Enforcement, the Postal Industry and the Taxation.
