The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are non-binding recommendations addressed by governments to multinational enterprises. They provide voluntary principles and standards for responsible business conduct consistent with applicable laws. The role of the Australian National Contact Point is to ensure the effective implementation and promotion of the Guidelines.
