CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences conducts research in Australia in mathematics, statistics and information sciences and its applications to industry, focusing particularly on helping organisations to use information in smarter ways. Research projects are in the areas of biotechnology and health informatics, environmental informatics and decision technologies and require skills in computation, mathematics and statistics, data analysis, modelling, simulation and optimisation.
