ART du JOUR by Leiela - During the upcoming school holiday break ART du JOUR by Leiela is running two Elves and Fairies Workshop sessions for kids aged 3 to 9 years old, located in Ascot Vale. The children will design, decorate, style and create their own Elf and Fairy costume and leave with their very own gift activity bag, balloon, certificate and a Fairy or Elf Costume Kit. ArtPlay - The ArtPlay schools program offers a range of workshops covering a variety of art-forms for you and your students to explore.

Australian Tapestry Workshop - School Holiday Weaving Workshop with Kate Mclaren. In this workshop children will do a short tour of the Workshop and watch the weavers at work then learn the art of hand weaving on their own mini loom. They will make a colourful tapestry to take home using the same yarn we use in the Workshop. Children can take their loom and some yarn home to keep making tapestries. Includes tuition by weaver and materials to take home.

Bindu Creative Dance - Creative movement/art sessions for primary school aged kids.

Circus Oz - 2014 finds Circus Oz developing a spanking brand new show in our custom-built secret circus laboratory in the heart of Collingwood. But Wait…There’s More makes its world premiere under the Big Top in Melbourne in June. Melbourne, 18 June-13 July 2014.

Club Engineer - Build and program robots with Lego Mindstorms, Write then play your own computer games. Club Engineer teaches tech-savvy kids, teens and young adults engineering principles through robotics and game programming. Our junior program is for students from year five to year seven and prepares them for entering the Robocup Rescue competition. Our middle and senior school programs are for students from year eight and beyond and teaches game programming using a variety of commercial languages and tools. All our course-ware is available online for free for those who can not make it to a face-to-face session.

Live on Bowen - Channel 31's favourite LIVE comedy variety show is back for a fourth season! The first of six brand new episodes will begin filming on the 4 July 2014 and will premiere on C31 Melbourne & Geelong a week later, 11 July 2014.

Music Theatre Boot Camp - Music Theatre Boot Camp is a school holiday empowerment program utilising the magic and beauty of theatre, music and dance to assist children explore their creativity and hidden (or well known) talents. In this 5 day program school-aged children learn a song and dance from a well known musical, as well as learn about stage craft and play lots of fun games to open up and liberate their voices and bodies. The children are with us at various locations around Melbourne between 9:30-3:00, and then perform what they've learned on the Friday for their personal onlookers!

PrimeSCI! School Holiday Program - Attention young scientists! It's time for eggstraordinary eggsperiments and to learn about science in the kitchen!

Robotics Club Winter Holiday Program - Our Junior programs include electronics, littlebits and modular robotics. Middle school holiday programs include Vex IQ robot camps and Lego Mindstorms EV3 Camps. Students will get to build and program their robots for the Vex IQ Add It Up Challenge or the EV3 Nature’s Fury Challenge. VEX Robotics Teens only camps available.

Thread Den - During the school holidays, Thread Den offers a great range of sewing classes for kids aged 6 years and up. Develop skills with textiles, add to your folio, or just make something completely unique. Classes are run in Thread Den's light filled sewing lounges and are led by industry professionals and friendly instructors.

Tree Sparrow Treasures - Jewellery making workshops, workshops are aimed at 5+ age group and 10+ age group.

wePUBLISH with Kids' Own Publishing July School Holiday - Workshops Participants will visit acclaimed children's authors and illustrators in their Abbotsford Convent studios, learn writing and illustrating techniques, create artwork for their book, and publish a digital version and a hard copy, eight-page origami book. Wyreena Community Arts Centre - Wyreena Community Arts Centre offers a School Holiday Program several times throughout the year.


Ladro Kids Pizza Making Classes - Famous for their stellar pizza offering, Ladro will teach kids how to make the pizza base dough, roll it out and top it with some delicious and wholesome ingredients.

Pizza making workshops at Moor's Head Elsternwick these school holidays on Wednesday July 2nd and 9th from 3pm-4:30 pm. The workshop is run by Naples trained Daniel Baresse and kids will learn how to make dough, stretch it, top it with our Inauthentic toppings and then eat it of course! TarraWarra Museum of Art - Australian Wonderland School Holiday Children's Workshops - Workshops are aimed at 7-12 year olds Artist Sarah Metzner will begin with a group discussion of selected works in the Danie Mellor: Exotic Lies Sacred Ties exhibition, focusing on how the artist depicts our Australian landscape and culture from his indigenous and non-indigenous background. Explore the detailed landscape drawings by Danie Mellor with artist Sarah Metzner and then create your own wonderland using collage, drawing and symbols. All materials are supplied and the workshop concludes with a discussion circle where children show their artworks. 11 July 2014.

Sports and Active

AFL Victoria School Holiday Program - introduces both boys and girls who are turning 5 and turning no older than 12 in the year they register to the basic skills of Australian Football. It builds on the skills of children who have already been introduced to the game and also teaches children with limited to no experience of Australian Football to the skills of the game. NO experience is necessary; this is the perfect place to give it a try. The program is a fun and inclusive program for boys and girls and includes skill development, fun activities, minor games and modified games. The holiday program provides a fun, exciting and safe environment for children to develop their skills whilst interacting with others. The program is delivered by Level 1 accredited coaches, with a coaching ratio of no more than 20 participants per coach.

AllSportz Sports Camp - Suited to children between 2-10 years old, our unique school holiday program will immerse every child in to a world of sports, fun and excitement.
