Music Makers - Did you love our Instant Rockstar workshop? Here’s a most excellent follow-on workshop just for you. Spend time on the music, putting together super awesome loops, recording your voice, mixing your track and extending your music composition skills. ArtPlay - The ArtPlay schools program offers a range of workshops covering a variety of art-forms for you and your students to explore.
Australian Shakespeare Company - Drama workshops for students aged 9-15 to build their acting, improvisation, performance and directing skills using Shakespeare’s work as a base for exploration of performance. No previous acting experience is required! Uncover some of Shakespeare’s most mystical tales, working with witches, warlocks and other magical creatures. On the final day, friends and family are invited to a showcase performance of the students work. Club Engineer - Build and program robots with Lego Mindstorms, Write then play your own computer games. Club Engineer teaches tech-savvy kids, teens and young adults engineering principles through robotics and game programming. Our junior program is for students from year five to year seven and prepares them for entering the Robocup Rescue competition. Our middle and senior school programs are for students from year eight and beyond and teaches game programming using a variety of commercial languages and tools. Music Theatre Boot Camp - Music Theatre Boot Camp is a school holiday empowerment program utilising the magic and beauty of theatre, music and dance to assist children explore their creativity and hidden (or well known) talents. In this 5 day program school-aged children learn a song and dance from a well known musical, as well as learn about stage craft and play lots of fun games to open up and liberate their voices and bodies. The children are with us at various locations around Melbourne between 9:30-3:00, and then perform what they've learned on the Friday for their personal onlookers!
Music Works Magic - Fun for all during the school holidays.
The Oopsy Daisys - are back with their special interactive musical concert Dance & Play for Melbourne children aged 2-6. This one hour concert experience focuses on engaging children in movement, dance and musical instrument playing in a fun and playful environment. Children will be encouraged to move and sing to the music then provided with instruments to participate with The Oopsy Daisys Orchestra. New songs and new dance moves to be performed including Pirate Oopsy & Captain Daisy, Body Noises, Robot Dance and more! Cost is $15 per child. Adults and siblings under 2 years of age are free! AFL Victoria Holiday Programs - The AFL Victoria School Holiday Program introduces both boys and girls who are turning 5 and turning no older than 12 in the year they register to the basic skills of Australian Football. The program is a fun and inclusive program for boys and girls and includes skill development, fun activities, minor games and modified games. Ready Set Trot - Ready Set Trot is a junior participation program for children with an interest in horses but don’t have one of their own. Ready Set Trot aims to introduce young people to horses and provide them with a better understanding of horsemanship in a fun and exciting way – regardless if they have access to a horse or not.
