Aida

A vision of ancient Egypt, Aida is one of opera's most revered classics. It has all the hallmarks of a grand opera: an exotic setting, life and death twists of fate, extravagant theatrical sets, thundering choruses and heart-rending arias.

Set in the splendor of ancient Egypt, it plots a deadly love triangle that pits three people between their love for their country, family and each other.

Amneris, daughter of the king, loves and wishes to marry Radames. Radames, however, secretly loves Amneris's Ethiopian slave-girl, Aida. Together with extravagant sets, a compelling storyline, and Verdi's dramatic score, it will present a captivating show.
