Buddhist Spring Festival
HAPPINESS IN A CHANGING WORLD
In the tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Learn the art of finding happiness during the Buddhist Spring Festival at the Tibetan Buddhist Society's Peaceful Land of Joy Meditation centre on the weekend of 5 and 6 November 2011, 10am to 5pm on both days.
The Society's Spiritual Leader, 88 year-old Tibetan meditation master and scholar Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden says, "every living being shares the same wish: young and old, every nationality, humans and animals. All living beings want happiness and they don't want suffering."
Talks at the festival will explain Buddhist methods to develop the mind of compassion and a perspective of the world based on love, patience and care for all living beings.
