A Streetcar Named Desire
A Streetcar Named Desire is about the journey of the once beautiful, Blanche Dubois who turns up on her sister's New Orleans doorstep looking for refuge from her crumbling life.
It is here that the drama unfolds, as Stella's charismatic but plain-speaking, sexually-domineering, brutal husband Stanley, will decide Blanche's future.
It is a gripping portrayal of self-deception, made even more potent through its highly emotive score. A stellar cast completes this powerful production, including Yvonne Kenny as Blanche and Teddy Tahu Rhodes as Stanley.
