Families are the cornerstone of our communities. The Victorian Government recognises this and acknowledges the important role we have to play in the health, well- being and prosperity of Victorian families now and into the future. A genuine and ongoing discussion between the Government and Victorian families about what is important, what is needed and how we are progressing is going to be essential. The 2011 Victorian Families Statement is the beginning of that discussion.
