Grants Victoria is a directory of Victorian Government grants and assistance. Here you’ll find general information about grants and assistance for individuals, businesses and communities that can help you:

  • fund ideas and initiatives;
  • develop local and national solutions;
  • get assistance in times of hardship; and
  • access further information.

Victorian Government includes Departments, statutory authorities and government business enterprises.

Grants include funding programs, individual grants, fellowships and scholarships.

Assistance includes help or support in various forms for example, government concessions, such as the seniors card and the winter gas concession, goods, such as water saving rebates and shower heads, or funds,  such as the community safety fund grant, for citizens of Victoria.

      The Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) provides subsidised taxi fares for Victorians with severe and permanent disability who also experience financial hardship.

      Multiple and Complex Needs Initiative

      The Multiple and Complex Needs Initiative (MACNI) is a time-limited specialist service for those 16 years and older identified as having multiple and complex needs, including those with combinations of mental illness, substance abuse issues, intellectual impairment, acquired brain injury and forensic issues. Often these individuals pose a risk to themselves and to the community.

      Municipal Rates Concession

      If you are a concession card holder, and are not connected to mains water, this form may help you apply for up to three rebates for water usage per financial year.

      Natural Disaster Financial Assistance

      Natural Disaster Financial Assistance for local councils is provided to assist in the recovery process and to alleviate some of the financial burden that may be experienced following a natural disaster. Financial assistance for councils in Victoria has been provided by the Victorian State Government in accordance with Commonwealth-State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) since 1974.
