Premier's Award for Health and Medical Research

The Premier's Award is presented annually by the Victorian Government and the Australian Society for Medical Research to an outstanding Victorian postgraduate health or medical research scholar.

The award program provides $70,000 in prize money - with $16,000 presented to the winner and $8,000 to each of the three commendees.

The $30,000 Jack & Robert Smorgon Families Award is also presented to a research institute associated with the work of the Premier's Award winner.
