Slow down, school's back!

School speed limits apply outside every school in Victoria to increase the safety for our most vulnerable road users - children.
To assist drivers comply with "school day" speed limits, the Victorian Government publishes in the Government Gazette the days on which these speed limits apply.
In 2012, with the exception of weekends and public holidays, "school day" speed limits will apply on all days in the following periods:
- 30 January 2012 to 30 March 2012
- 16 April 2012 to 29 June 2012
- 16 July 2012 to 21 September 2012
- 8 October 2012 to 21 December 2012
