State Schools Spectacular welcomes Kelley Abbey
There's never been a better time to join the Victorian State Schools Spectacular, as Kelley Abbey has been announced as Dance Director for 2012.
Kelley brings a wealth of experience to the show, having worked on So You Think You Can Dance(Australia and the US) and Oscar winning film Happy Feet, as well as choreographing stage shows such at the Boy from Oz Arena Spectacular, Fame and Footloose the Musical.
Government school students from around Victoria can get involved in the State Schools Spectacular, and dancers from Years 4-12 are invited to audition for the unique opportunity to join one of the Dance Ensembles.
All styles of dance are very welcome – ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, funk, breaking, krumping, etc. Students do not need to prepare a piece for the audition.
