VicRoads launches Road User or Abuser campaign
This week VicRoads launched Road User or Abuser - an online campaign designed to improve the relationship between drivers and bike riders.
The campaign is designed to improve the relationship between Victorian drivers and bike riders and is being hosted on a purposely built Facebook page.
Over a six week period, the public will be able to join the discussion and have its say about how bike riders and drivers should share the road in Victoria.
In the last five years, an average of 457 bike riders were seriously or fatally injured on Victoria’s roads. VicRoads conducted segmentation research in Victoria to identify and profile groups of bike riders, including the best way to communicate with them. The Road User or Abuser campaign has been developed on the basis of the segmentation research.
VicRoads encourages you to join the conversation, take the quiz, watch the video and 'Like' the page to pledge your support. VicRoads also encourages you to help us promote this campaign through your networks.
