VicEvents help FAQ's
1. I am having trouble downloading the VicEvents app - it keeps freezing.
It is possible that the network is busy or you might be in a black spot. We have tested all platforms and have been able to successfully download onto iPhone, iPad and Android. Please try again.
2. How do I send feedback about the app?
We would love to hear from you. There is a feedback link on the app. Click on the information icon which is located on the home page of the app - a feedback link is available and links to an online feedback form.
3. How do I add an event to the VicEvents app?
You can add an event to the VicEvents app by using the 'Suggest an Event' feature. This is available via the VicEvents app or online.
4. How do I download the VicEvents app for Android?
The downloads provided through the Victoria Online Events Calendar (including the Public Holidays and School Term Dates) are not limited to iPhone use. They are compliant with the iCalendar standard - more information is available at http://en.wikipedia.org.
There are two ways to have these downloads appear in your Android Phone calendar - one is to find an App in the Google Marketplace that processes the files for you, and the other way is to save the files into your Google Calendar and then sync the Google Calendar with your phone.
5. I am using the VicEvents app and trying to add an event to my calendar, and getting the message 'sorry, this event could not be added to your calendar at this time'.
This function is currently unavailable in the current version of the VicEvents app. We are currently working on a fix, which will be applied to the next version of the VicEvents app.
