The winners of the 2010 Victorian Community History Awards were recently announced by The Hon. Peter Batchelor, MP, Minister for the Arts, at a ceremony held on Thursday, 19 August, 2010, at the Experimedia Room, State Library of Victoria.

The An Invitation to the Ball exhibition, which continues at the Old Heidelberg Court House Museum until November 2010, traces the history of balls and society events in the Banyule area between 1850 and 1950. Items include formal gowns, jackets, fans, newspaper clippings and photographs.
