About the VisualPlace Proof of Concept

The VisualPlace Proof of Concept was testing innovative ways of capturing, exploring and visualising government information and services through maps.

The purpose of VisualPlace was to show the value of an interactive GIS-enabled service for the visualisation of location based government information.

The Proof of Concept ran for a period of 6 months from the 25th of January 2010 to the 25th of July 2010.
