Now in its 17th year, the Victorian Honour Roll of Women acknowledges and celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in Victoria.
Since 2001, 582 inductees have been honoured for their significant and lasting contributions to Victoria, Australia and beyond.
Inductees have contributed to lasting change in Victoria, Australia and the world, in many fields of endeavour. Areas of work for nomination include:
- arts and media
- police and emergency services
- business industry
- human rights and law
- prevention of family violence
- community advocacy
- rural and regional
- indigenous affairs
- science, research and engineering
- justice and corrections
- sport and recreation
- planning and architecture.
