Women's Board Leadership Program - 3 women in front of computer

Women's Board Leadership Program

This year we have expanded the Victorian Women’s Governance Scholarship Program. The program previously offered 34 scholarships annually to participants to undertake a course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The Women’s Board Leadership Program will encourage more women to serve on community and government boards. The initiative has been established in response to findings from Safe and Strong – A Victorian Gender Equality Strategy, which identifies the need to support women into leadership positions to enable a pipeline of new women board members and to enhance gender representation in decision making.

We are working closely with Leadership Victoria and the Australian Institute of Company Directors to deliver a board leadership program that offers a tailored approach and a range of options for women to participate.
