About the program
The program consists of 2 streams:
- Foundations of (25 places)
- Company Directors (20 places)
The Victorian Government has partnered with the Australian Institute of (AICD) which will deliver the program.
The 2020 African Communities Board and Governance program is a proud initiative of the Victorian African Communities Action Plan (VACAP).

Applicants for the 2020 African Communities Board and Governance Program are assessed on their responses in the application form.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- live in Victoria
- have experience on a board or committee of management
- identify as from African heritage
- have not previously completed any of the programs offered
- can demonstrate leadership potential and contribution to the broader African community
