The Port Phillip Bay Fund is a grants program that supports projects by community groups and organisations who are working to protect and improve coastal habitats and marine ecosystems for their biodiversity values through partnership and engagement with on-ground activities. The Victorian Government is providing $1.2 million for the 2021-22 Port Phillip Bay Fund round.
Grants up to $100,000 are available for innovative, large-scale projects and up to $25,000 for smaller projects that focus on conserving and protecting coastal habitats and the marine ecosystem.
Community groups, non-government organisations, research institutes, local councils, schools and youth groups can apply.
