Aboriginal Treaty Working Group

The Aboriginal Treaty Working Group was established in July 2016 to consult with Aboriginal communities to develop options for a representative body and to provide advice to community and government on the next steps in a treaty making process.

The Working Group represents Traditional Owners, state wide Aboriginal community controlled organisations and young Aboriginal people. Their role, through consultation, is to develop options for a representative body and to provide advice to community and government on the next steps in a treaty making process.
