Treaty Circle Facilitators

Victorian Aboriginal community members wanting to make treaty happen, were called upon to become Treaty Circle Facilitators, to help their community have their say and drive the pathway to treaty.

Treaty Circle Facilitator handbooks were provided:

Treaty Circle Facilitator Handbook Treaty Circle Facilitator HandbookPDF (877.99 KB)

Treaty Circle Facilitator Guidelines.docx Treaty Circle Facilitator GuidelinesDOC (100.07 KB)

Treaty Circle Facilitators were able to receive up to $500 reimbursement to run treaty circles, and provided with training and on-going support.

Online Message Stick

Anyone unable to attend a consultation or Treaty Circle was invited to visit an Online Message Stick to have their say about representation. Visitors could complete a questionnaire, find out more about what a representative body might look like, hear about the journey so far and find out about the next steps in the treaty process.
