Daylesford Arts, Recreation and Cultural Centre - School Holiday Program - Running at the ARC over the 2 weeks of school holidays is a fun and diverse program of activities for school aged children.

Gasworks Arts Park - Gasworks’ kids holiday programs offer creative and entertaining experiences for children aged 4 to 14 during the school holidays. Little Designer Club Pop Up Design Studio - Myer and Little Designer Club have teamed up to bring kinder and primary school aged kids a creative and fun experience this school holidays. Kids can design their own handbag and necklace, take part in some fun and creative activities and walk away with their unique creation in hand! Magic Workshop - The Magic School of Confidence is holding another series of July School holiday workshops for all aspiring young magicians of the ages 6+. It will be a day packed with NEW tricks, a mini magic show and meeting new friends. Classes are only small so we have limited places. At the end of the day (normally 10-3), magicians are awarded with a certificate cementing their new status as a magician's apprentice. Perhaps one of Magic Tony's furry or feathered friends might make an appearance also..Our July school holiday workshops will be held on the 2nd,3rd and 5th of July at the cost of $60 per magician. Music Works Magic - Fun for all during the school holidays.

Origami School Holiday Workshops - Origami workshops at the Craft Cottage Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne with Kritima Chamchuen – origami is an ancient art form from Japan and is the creation of paper forms usually entirely by folding. Join us in this class for kids, and she will introduce them to the basics of origami in a fun and accessible way for the young. It will seem almost magical as they learn how to transform a flat sheet of paper into a 3-dimensional form, using only hands. Learn to make some penguins and butterflies. All paper and equipment supplied including some special handmade paper. 5 & 11 July 2018.

School Holiday Art - A boutique art studio in Patterson Lakes for creative kids aged 6 - 12+ years. Offering 2.5 hours of creative watercolour painting fun in a nurturing, friendly and caring environment. Activities are modified to suit your child's age & ability. Mahatma Gandhi: An Immigrant Opens - This digital interactive exhibition honours the period of Gandhi's stay in South Africa and his subsequent personal transformation from this experience. 5 April 2018.

MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art - MoMA at NGV will provide a unique survey of the Museum’s iconic collection. Consisting of approximately 200 key works, arranged chronologically into eight thematic sections, the exhibition will trace the development of art and design from late-nineteenth-century urban and industrial transformation, through to the digital and global present. 9 June - 7 October 2018.

Real Madrid World of Football Experience - The Real Madrid World of Football Experience is a new, state-of-the-art, digital and physical interactive football experience designed for all ages. Tractor Fruit Tasting Adventure - Farmer Len or his sons Cam or Andrew will guide you through the orchard with lots of entertaining and interesting facts along the way. Price includes generous samples of fruit ripe on the day, come hungry as there are lots of varieties to try ( usually 8 – 12 varieties). Upick is usually available during the tour, fruit bags are supplied and fruit picked to take away starts at $5- per kilo, depending on variety. Every day 9am to 4pm.

'Wild Things' School Holiday Program - Calling all Wild Things! Inspired by the classic story Where the Wild Things Are this special workshop will explore journeys, mischief and monsters. 2018 Monash Year Engineering ChallENGe - Encourage your Year 8 students to explore the wonderful world of engineering with seven exciting workshops! 2-4 July 2018.

Club Engineer - Build and program robots with Lego Mindstorms or write then play your own computer games. Club Engineer teaches tech-savvy kids, teens and young adults engineering principles through robotics and game programming. The junior program is for students from year five to year seven and prepares them for entering the Robocup Rescue competition. The middle and senior school programs are for students from year eight and beyond and teaches game programming using a variety of commercial languages and tools. All course-ware is available online for free for those who cannot make it to a face-to-face session.

e2 Young Engineers - Hands-on LEGO® Challenge workshops where students build educational motorized models like amusement park rides, aircraft, transportation vehicles, cranes etc. Through the use of exciting experiments and building originally designed LEGO® bricks models that illustrate Science and Engineering topics your child will have FUN while improving creativity, concentration, visual-spatial and social skills just to name a few. Lego kits, battery, motor with visual instructions will be provided.

Golden Gear Robotics S.T.E.A.M Laboratory - Technology adventures: kids learn to code through building and programming Lego Mindstorms and Lego Edison robots. Learn about circuits through fun & creative electronic craft activities in our mobile makerspace.

Manningham YMCA - Manningham YMCA is now running holiday clinics for participants of a variety of skill levels and ages. The Clinics are designed to be fun, something new and expose children to a range of new sports and activities. O’Brien Group Arena - Ice skating

Okukan Karate Just for Kicks! - OKUKAN teaches kids beginner karate classes during the school holidays, for 5-8 year olds and 9-15 year olds. All lessons are taught by head and founding karateka Sensei Sandra in Coburg and Collingwood.

Peninsula Bike Skills - The Dirt-Riderz School Holiday Program is a full day of riding the mountain bike tracks and trails of Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula supervised by experienced mountain bike instructors. Cost: $35 to $65 per person.

Academy of Interactive Entertainment - School Holiday Courses for kids aged 12-17. Introduction to 3D animation and Introduction to Game programming.

Aerobotics Global - Robotics and coding programs that not only educate but also inspire kids for an exciting tomorrow. We teach kids to love innovation using real robots and real code. Aerobotics Global organises two days Holiday Programs ranging from basics to advanced level, which means you will be enhancing your skills with every level of course. Join our basic course during these term Holidays and come back for the level 2 course in the next term Holiday. Courses available for kids in Grade 1 and above. After school term-based programs are also available. 2-13 July 2018.

Code Camp - Three and 4 day coding camps are multiple Melbourne school-based locations. In Little League Code Camp (Years K-1), Code Camp Spark and Ignite (Years 2-7) and Code Camp Leap (For students having mastered Spark & Ignite Camps), kids create and build their own game, learning about user design and the psychology of user experience. The end result is an app that works on multiple devices, and every kid goes home with their own self-created game.

Robots and 3D paints Tech Program - There are 3 activities in this 2.5 program: Robot / Lego Wedo coding 45 mins Kids will be encouraged to code robots making movement or take Lego Wedo project challenges; Animation 45 mins Kids will learn how to make stop motion animation, or they can use animation software to build small cartoon story; 3D Painting 45 mins This activity help kids to be creative and they will design and directly draw 3D objects with 3D pens. 30 June, 1, 8, 9 & 14 July 2018.
