The Business Recovery Energy Efficiency Fund (BREEF) is a $31 million grant program supporting business projects looking to implement energy efficiency projects and gain professional advice to support uptake of demand response opportunities. The program aims to help create jobs, increase energy savings and reduce energy bills.
BREEF is offering 2 grant programs:
- Capital Works
- Energy Demand Management
Capital Works grants will assist Victoria’s large energy users to install energy saving equipment and encourage investment in projects that create jobs and support key supply chains. A total of $24 million will be available to businesses through the grant program, which will fund multiple projects.
Energy Demand Management grants are available to businesses to support the installation of energy management systems, energy assessments and implementation of demand management solutions. A total of $7 million will be available to businesses through the grant program, which will fund multiple projects.
