Connecting students with skills

We help give students the skills they need for in-demand and emerging jobs.

The Victorian Skills Authority will help give students the skills they need for in-demand and emerging jobs.

The Victorian Skills Authority will take responsibility for Skills and Job Centres at TAFEs across Victoria. These centres are a first ‘port of call’ for anyone looking to enter the workforce, start training or re-skill.

We’ll be overseeing the Victorian Skills Gateway – which remains the best online resource to find training to get the job you want.

Visit skills.vic.gov.au to search the directory of more than 500 training pathways and occupations, from ‘accounting’ to ‘youth work’ or contact the TAFE and Training line to access free advice and information on training.

These changes will help everyone succeed and make the economy, and Victoria, more resilient and able to adapt. They will make sure people and the communities in which they live get the skills needed to meet the new era with confidence.
