It is the VCAA’s responsibility to ensure that Victorian school students have access to the most fair and accurate assessment procedures possible. This responsibility includes the development, conduct and assessment of external VCE examinations and the General Achievement Test (GAT).
The VCAA is responsible for the delivery of VCE results to thousands of students across the State every year. We also forward the results to VTAC for processing students' applications for tertiary courses.
The VCE Season of Excellence presents works created by VCE students in design, technology, multimedia and the cinematic, visual and performing arts through exhibitions, screenings and performances supported by education talks, forums and panel discussions, catalogues, programs and online material.
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the certificate that the majority of students in Victoria receive on satisfactory completion of their secondary education. The VCE provides diverse pathways to further study or training at university or TAFE and to employment.
