The Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability is an independent voice that advocates, audits and reports on environmental sustainability in Victoria.
The Sustainability Fund is established under section 70 of the Environment Protection Act 1970 (EP Act) and receives money collected from Victorian landfill levies. Funds are allocated with the joint consent of the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change and Premier.
