Calling all qualified early childhood teachers
As an Australian-first initiative, the expansion of the sector through the introduction of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten presents an exciting opportunity for qualified early childhood teachers to take up a teaching position in Victoria.
Victorian Early Childhood Teacher Financial Incentives program
You could be eligible for:
- a financial incentive of between $9,000 to $50,000
- relocation support to take up a teaching position at a selected service delivering Three-Year-Old Kindergarten.
Areas where incentives will be available, include hard-to-staff services in metropolitan Melbourne, and regional and rural Victoria.
More incentives will be available if you are a qualified early childhood teacher, but not currently working in the Victorian early childhood sector and are interested in joining - or re-joining - during this exciting time.
If you choose to join or re-join the sector, you’ll get access to extra professional support to help develop your career. This is in addition to the and available to all Victorian early childhood teachers with the roll-out of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten.
Relocation support will also be available if you need to relocate within, or to, Victoria.
