Victorian Government includes Departments, statutory authorities and government business enterprises.

Grants include funding programs, individual grants, fellowships and scholarships.

Assistance includes help or support in various forms for example, government concessions, such as the seniors card and the winter gas concession, goods, such as water saving rebates and shower heads, or funds,  such as the community safety fund grant, for citizens of Victoria.

    • Community Support Program for Post-Sentence Scheme Offenders
      Community Support Program for Post-Sentence Scheme Offenders

      The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Application RFA 033/16-17 for the provision of the Community Support Program (CSP) for Post-Sentence Scheme Offenders. The purpose of the CSP is to increase community safety by reducing the risk of sexual and violent re-offending by post-sentence scheme offenders through providing pro-active, practical and individualised assistance that facilitates the offender’s access to a range of community supports and services that address their multi-faceted needs. Implemented in collaboration with Corrections Victoria (CV), the CSP will respond holistically to the requirements of offenders, by providing an individualised response that is targeted to those areas of support that cannot be provided by CV.

      Corrections Victoria Housing Program

      The Corrections Victoria Housing Program (CVHP) can provide housing and support to individuals who are at risk of homelessness and at increased risk of reoffending upon release from prison. The CVHP has access to transitional housing placements through arrangements with Registered Housing Agencies. Eligible applicants must be engaged with the Intensive Transitional Support Programs (ITSPs) or the Community Support Program.

    • Early Career Researcher Grants Round 2018
      Early Career Researcher Grants Round 2018

      The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation awards research grants for areas of study that will build on our knowledge of how gambling affects the Victorian community and inform the strategies and activities we support to address harm.

      The Foundation is pleased to announce a new funding round under the Grants for Gambling Research Program specifically for early career researchers. Up to six $50,000 (excl. GST) grants for projects conducted over an 18-month period will be awarded to early career researchers to explore issues that relate to the following research priorities:

      - Lived experience
      - Gambling harm and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) communities
      - Gambling in regional Victoria- eSports
      - Fantasy sports and daily fantasy sports.
