Victorian Government includes Departments, statutory authorities and government business enterprises.

Grants include funding programs, individual grants, fellowships and scholarships.

Assistance includes help or support in various forms for example, government concessions, such as the seniors card and the winter gas concession, goods, such as water saving rebates and shower heads, or funds,  such as the community safety fund grant, for citizens of Victoria.

      Collaborative Council - Sustainability Fund Partnerships - Round 7

      Round 7 – of the Collaborative Council – Sustainability Fund Partnerships provides opportunities for councils to collaborate on procurement projects focused on an environmentally sustainable outcome. Funded by the Victorian Government’s Sustainability Fund, the CC-SFP will provide funding to councils to collaborate with each other on a joint business case, feasibility study or project to achieve positive business and environmental outcomes. Projects must align with the Sustainability Fund legislation.

      The Free from violence local government project enables local government to be leaders in gender equality and the primary prevention of family violence and all forms of violence against women.       Growing Suburbs Fund

      The Victorian Government is investing an additional $50 million through the 2018-19 Growing Suburbs Fund (GSF) to continue with the timely delivery of critical infrastructure in Melbourne's interface. The 2018-19 GSF will contribute to meeting critical local infrastructure needs for communities in Melbourne's changing and fast-growing outer suburbs. It is positioned to quickly respond to the pressures being experienced by interface communities by accelerating infrastructure projects that will make a big difference in the liveability and resilience of these communities.

      Social Housing grants for local government

      The Social Housing Investment Planning (SHIP) Grants provide up to $200,000 to local government to increase the supply of land available for social housing projects, and to encourage new and innovative working relationships between local government and community housing providers that will progress future projects.
