Registered housing agency performance

The Housing Registrar publicly reports on registered agencies’ compliance and performance results under the Housing Act 1983 (Vic).

The Housing Registrar publicly reports on registered agencies’ compliance and performance results under the Housing Act 1983 (Vic) and gazetted Performance Standards on the Public Register.

The Housing Registrar publicly reports to promote transparency and ensure information is accessible, easily understood and comparable.

The performance of the community housing sector is reported annually in the Sector Performance Report.

  • The Housing Registrar’s Public Register is a database containing information about registered agencies regulated under the Housing Act 1983 (Vic).

Information on the Public Register includes a registered agency’s compliance against each of the Performance Standards and an executive summary on the outcomes of a registered agency’s annual compliance assessment.

It includes a Performance Report providing information about how a registered agency has performed against key performance measures. It also includes a comparison of an agency’s performance against its corresponding registration category, either as a housing association or housing provider.

  • The Housing Registrar produces an annual Sector Performance Report providing a detailed analysis of the community housing sector’s performance, including financial and non-financial data, by financial year. The latest report is the Sector Performance Report 2018-19.

Prior year Sector Performance Reports can be found at Housing Registrar Reports.
