A State Memorial Service for the Honourable John Cain, former Premier of Victoria, will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne, at 11.00am on Monday 3 February 2020.
Relatives, friends, representatives of organisations, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
Doors will open at 10am. Guests are asked to arrive and be seated by 10.30am.
The service will commence at 11am.
St Paul’s Cathedral, corner Swanston and Flinders Streets, Melbourne.
Extra large bags such as school bags, back packs and shopping bags will not be permitted inside the Cathedral.
Photographs will not be permitted during the Service.
Media will be present.
Seating and registration
Relatives, friends, representatives of organisations and members of the public are all welcome to attend.
Registration is not required.
A space will be reserved in the Cathedral for family and friends.
How to get there
The precinct is expected to be busy on the day of the State Memorial and there will be changed traffic conditions.
Arriving by public transport or on foot is recommended.
St Paul’s Cathedral is a 5-minute walk from Flinders Street Station.
Street parking is not available; paid parking is available at Wilson Parking Flinders Gate and at Federation Square.
