The VI receives and investigates certain complaints made to it about these bodies. It also oversees the use of coercive powers (such as powers to summons and examine witnesses) by various bodies and ensures legislative compliance by agencies that exercise covert powers.

Come along to learn about the key oversight body in the Victoria’s integrity system, what we do and how we can help you.

Date: 16 May 2018

Ensuring procedural fairness

Did the Victorian Ombudsman or OVIC deal with your complaint appropriately?
