Notice of application to transfer electricity retail licence

ZEN Energy Retail Pty Ltd (ACN 615 751 052) has applied to transfer its electricity retail licence to ZEN Energy Retail Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 697 773 916), under section 31(1) of the Electricity Industry Act 2000.

The Essential Services Commission (the commission) may approve or refuse the application for any reason it considers appropriate having regard to the commission’s objectives under the Electricity Industry Act 2000 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2001.

A copy of the application to transfer is available on the commission’s website at www.esc.vic.gov.au or may be obtained by contacting the commission on (03) 9032 1300.

The commission invites interested persons to make submissions in respect of the application to transfer. Please forward submissions regarding the application to Essential Services Commission, Level 8, 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne, 3000, or to licences@esc.vic.gov.au, by 5.00pm on 17 June 2026.
