Victoria’s independent economic regulator, the Essential Services Commission, has made a price determination in respect of the prices the Victorian water business North East Water Corporation may charge for prescribed services during the next regulatory period from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031.
The prescribed services in relation to which the determination for North East Water Corporation applies includes retail water, sewerage and recycled water services; trade waste services; and services to which developer charges apply.
The determination takes effect from 1 July 2026.
