About
Andrew Asten has been working to improve and empower leadership in both the public and private sectors for over 15 years. His experience covers a wide range of fields, including infrastructure, telecommunications, energy, foreign affairs, defence, service delivery and public sector reform.
In 2005, Andrew worked intensively with the United Nations Youth Organisation to bring young Australians together to deepen their understanding of the global challenges facing the nation. In 2007, he began working with Oaktree, Australia’s first aid and development organisation run entirely by volunteer youth. He coordinated the Face up to Poverty campaign and also founded Oaktree’s Schools 4 Schools program to provide life-changing educational opportunities to students across the developing world.
Andrew contributes to the community across a range of organisations. At The Boston Consulting Group, he provides guidance and insight into the infrastructure and transport sector. Andrew has likewise been called on to serve as a board member for both Ridley College and community care organisation Doncare.
