The Victorian Government condemns all acts of anti-Semitism and violence.
The Bondi Beach attack that occurred in Sydney on Sunday 14 December has gravely impacted people around Australia, including Jewish communities in Victoria and nationally.
Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones, the Victorian Jewish community and everyone else who has been affected by this incident.
We acknowledge the bravery of first responders and emergency services personnel who took steps to stop the attack and provide immediate support and care to victims.
Victoria is a multicultural society and acts of terror go against everything we stand for.
To Jewish communities in Victoria and around Australia, we stand with you. You deserve to feel safe and celebrate your faith without fear.
We are committed to providing the necessary support and care to all Victorians who are affected by this tragic event in Bondi or are grieving at this time.
