Applications for the Community Food Security Program – First Peoples grants are now open.
These grants will fund First Peoples-led organisations to deliver food relief and food security initiatives to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria experiencing food insecurity.
This grant stream is being delivered by the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) in partnership with the Victorian Government.
These grants recognise the pivotal role of First Peoples-led organisations in delivering culturally responsive food relief and food security initiatives.
First Peoples grants are open to:
- Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
- Aboriginal Community Gathering Places
- Aboriginal-led organisations.
