Magistrates' Court roll out an online application form for intervention orders

The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria has introduced an online application form for family violence victims to apply for an intervention order. It is intended that the online application form will:

• streamline the application process for family violence victims
• improve access for those in rural and regional areas
• remove the need for family violence victims to complete the form in person

The Family Violence Intervention Order Application Form is available online (state-wide) or directly through the MCV website, allowing for the submission of an intervention order applications to the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria anywhere an internet accessibility is available.
