About
The Guide to Better Construction Management Plans (CMP) can help Victorian councils design, review and improve their CMP processes.
It has been developed with councils and draws on their practical experience of administering CMPs. It provides principles and practical approaches that councils can adapt to their local communities.
This guide is designed for planning, building, engineering and compliance officers involved in the CMPs process, as well as managers, and CMP assessor officers.
How this tool can help
The guide covers approaches councils can use for:
- setting clear, risk-based CMP requirements
- improving communication with construction businesses
- coordinating council teams and assessment processes.
