Jane Harrison is descended from the Muruwari people of NSW. She is a playwright, novelist, festival director and researcher.
Her plays include Stolen, Rainbow’s End, The Visitors, and Bennelong in London. The opera The Visitors premiered in 2023. Her novels include Becoming Kirrali Lewis and The Visitors.
Jane received the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award in 2023, the Mona Brand Award in 2026. She was the Festival Director of Blak & Bright First Nations Literary Festival (2016 to 2024).
