Kate is widely recognised as a highly effective advocate for change for gender equality.
In April 2023, Kate completed her seven-year term as Australia’s Sex Discrimination Commissioner. During this time Kate led numerous inquiries with a focus on workplaces, parliament, education, sport and security organisations.
As a result of Kate's strategic and tenacious leadership there are - and will continue to be - enduring changes in the safety and equality of Australian workplaces.
