How to create a Service Victoria account video walkthrough

It only takes a few minutes to create a Service Victoria account.

Tap create account and enter your email address.

This will be your username along with your given name and family name.

Then tap create account to continue.

We'll send a six-digit code to your email. Enter it on this screen to verify your address. The code is valid for 9
minutes.

If you don't receive it, tap send new code. Next, set a password. It needs to be at least eight characters and include both upper and lowerase
letters. Tick the box to agree to the terms, then tap next. Now you'll set up multifactor authentication.

This keeps your account secure.

You can choose between a text message or an authenticator app. We'll show you both options.

If you choose text message, enter your Australian mobile number. We'll send you a code each time you log in to keep your
account secure.

Enter the six-digit code we've sent to your mobile. Then tap next. You'll also need to set up secret questions.

These help you recover your account if you ever lose access.

Choose the questions you want and set your answers.

If you choose the authenticator app, you'll need one installed on your phone first, like Google Authenticator, Apple
Passwords, or Microsoft Authenticator.

Download one from your app store, then come back and tap next.

Open your Authenticator app and add your Service Victoria account using the setup key shown on screen or tap scan a QR
code instead if your app supports it.

Your app will generate a six-digit code.

Enter it here to confirm everything is connected. Then tap check code.

Almost done. You can choose to trust this device, which means you won't need to enter a security code again for a
year.

Tap remember to save it or skip if you'd prefer not to. Your account is set up and you can now apply for services, licenses, and more through Service
Victoria.
