COPY/PASTE TRACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES FROM THE EARLY YEARS ASSESSMENT AND LEARNING TOOL (THE TOOL) TO THE ONLINE TLDS
[Male Speaker]
This short video will demonstrate how to copy/paste teaching and learning strategies from the Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool when completing Section 1.1 of the Department of Education's Online Transition Learning and Development Statement, the Online TLDS.
If you are registered to use EYALT, the Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool, and have completed the recommended minimum number of assessment modules for this child, check this box and upload the completed EYALT report as part of this submission. You will not be required to re-enter the information in section 1.1 below.
If you wish to copy paste specific descriptors and key outcomes from an EYALT report, the remainder of this video describes how to do so.
Log in and navigate to the Reports section of the Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool at the address eyalt.arcassess.education.
Select Reports from the menu to access the learning reports.
Pick the child's group, pick the appropriate module, pick the recent most assessment period.
Pick the child and confirm with the Select button and click View to display the report in a scrollable frame.
Scroll down to the appropriate Learning Outcomes section.
Click and drag over the required text, then right Click to open the context menu and select Copy.
Click back on the Online TLDS window to bring it back into focus.
Double click the appropriate cell of the table to make it editable, then right Click and select Paste from the context menu.
Modify and format the text as necessary.
Use the same method to continue to copy paste from the report.
To save time and avoid the context menus, use the hotkeys Control C to copy a selection and Control V to paste from the clipboard.
On a Mac, these hotkeys are Command C and Command V.
