V/O: When you share risk relevant information about family violence risk, you are helping to keep a victim survivor safe and a perpetrator accountable for their behaviour.

V/O: A victim survivor should not have to repeat their story to multiple services to get the help they need.

V/O: You may have information from your interactions with a client that another service does not have – and which could be crucial to assessing and managing risk and keeping the perpetrator in view.

V/O: When you share information about the wellbeing or safety of children, you are promoting earlier identification and enabling earlier support and engagement with relevant services, through a collaborative approach across the service sector.

V/O: This helps improve outcomes for children and families.

V/O: Effective information sharing enables services to have a current understanding of family violence risk and the wellbeing and safety of children by bringing together information known across multiple services to form a full picture.

V/O: For further information, please visit the MARAM and information sharing resources webpage.
