Michal Morris is the chief executive officer of inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence. Throughout her career, Michal has worked across diverse communities, sectors and government to advocate for and deliver improved health and wellbeing outcomes with a focus on migrant and refugee communities.
Michal’s work spans family violence prevention, mental health, alcohol and drug services, suicide prevention and community health. Her skills as a thoughtful and strategic communicator and intrinsic understanding of the connections between health, wellbeing and safety inform the experience she brings to numerous councils, boards and committees.
Michal’s steady and imaginative leadership throughout the COVID-19 pandemic ensured that inTouch's vital services remained responsive, appropriate and engaged, while under increased pressure throughout Melbourne's prolonged lockdowns.
