The Statement of Expectations Framework for Regulators outlines:
- best practice and processes for drafting and renewing a statement of expectations
- how regulators and departments can show that they’re fulfilling these requirements.
Appendix 1 provides a list of regulators covered by the framework and links to their current statement of expectations.
The framework is supported by:
- Towards Best Practice – A Guide for Regulators, developed by Better Regulation Victoria
- guidance on how regulators can report on progress in meeting ministerial expectations.
