Vehicle registration rebate

From Monday 1 June to Friday 31 July 2026 Victorians can apply for a 20% rebate on their vehicle registration payments.

Who can apply:
Individuals

The rebate will be limited to 2 light vehicles per person. Eligible vehicles include:

  • cars
  • wagons (4WD)
  • station wagons
  • motorcycles
  • utes
  • vans
  • light trucks.

The rebate will apply to eligible vehicles registered under an individual’s name for the period of 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
