I'm Linda Schmidt. I'm an artist based in Warle.

We are here on the Queen Street foot bridge in Warragul. I was involved in a project with the Department of Transport and Veline to beautify the bridge.

We have put together this new mural for the foot bridge for our community and for visitors to enjoy.

The mural has been taken from an

original artwork called Colors of

Baw Baw, which was designed by myself.

What you see here is some blown up

excerpts from that original artwork.

We've got kingishes which are found in

the area as well as some of the local

flora. The inspiration for the artwork

was our diverse landscape here in Bourb.

We're really lucky to be surrounded by

the bush and the rolling green hills.

What people may not be aware of though

is the beautiful bird life and I've

tried to capture all of that in this

artwork.
